Great question! Our chat feature is a part of our Jill Receptionist and our Jill Complete packages (find more information here). So no matter which one you sign up with, you are able to use this feature.

A chat conversation is a part of the same usage as your inbound/outbound calls, at no additional cost. 

But with chats, conversations can vary widely in length, so instead of billing a chat conversation by the minute- we bill it at a flat rate of 5 billable minutes. What this means is that a chat conversation, at most, costs $10 per 24 hour period. 

The billing for chat conversations resets after 24 hours. So if the same client reaches back out 24 hours later, it starts a new conversation. But if they reach out again within those 24 hours, it is at no additional cost.

Chat conversations aren’t charged until the client responds to our Jill, no matter who initiates the conversation. This way you aren’t billed for chats that have no customer interaction.
